About this section
The page contains information about Seasonal Posts, for example, spring cleaning, spring makeovers, preparing for Christmas and winter. How to get the most out of spring days.
Spring makeover
One of my favourite seasonal posts is spring! Looks like spring is almost here and winter is leaving us. When spring arrives, I like to give my place a little refresh. It’s nothing too drastic, just a way to liven things up. A few simple changes can really brighten up your home for spring without costing a lot.
Preparing for winter
I have to admit, winter isn’t my favourite season. Still, I make sure to get ready for it ahead of time each year. It keeps me safe, cosy, and healthy when the temperatures drop and the days get shorter. It definitely makes handling daily life a bit easier during those months.
Preparing early for Christmas
Preparing for Christmas can definitely be a bit of a challenge, especially if you’re the one hosting. But the trick is really all about staying organised. If you take care of a few things in the fall and tackle a couple of tasks each week in November and December, it’ll end up being a lot easier. Just follow our tips below, and hopefully, you’ll have a chilled Christmas ahead.
Spring clean
Give your place a little refresh. After months of keeping the windows shut and spending a lot of time at home, it can start to feel a bit cramped and stale. A solid spring cleaning and clearing out some dust, dirt, and clutter can make your space feel much lighter and more inviting.
Making the most of longer days
Enjoying those long summer days is all about striking a balance between being productive, relaxing, and having a good time.
How to thrive in winter
The shorter days and colder weather definitely affect how I feel. Every year, I brace myself for it, and I’ve figured out some better ways to handle it over time. The lack of sunlight and lower temperatures can sometimes leave me feeling a bit low on energy or change my mood, which people usually call the “winter blues.”
